What is a Composite Door?

Composite doors are the newest type of door used in homes. They are designed with an attractive wood grain effect, but thanks to the combination of materials used, they require little to no maintenance, unlike a real wood door. They are exceptionally well-designed, modern, and superior to other doors available on the market. They are strong, secure, and will last a long time.

What are Composite Doors made of?

Composite doors are created using a combination of materials to provide the best quality door available, with better thermal properties, weather protection and security.

The exterior of our Door-Stop International composite doors are coated with glass reinforced plastic skins (GRP) for superior weather protection. GRP is used to make the hulls of boats because it’s super strong and has exceptional wind and water resistance.

The hinge edge of our composite doors have a PVC edging, with a full-length 4mm thick long strip for extra security.
